Nurse Resume

Before reviewing this Nurse Resume, make sure to read my tips on how to make a resume.

Whether you have not yet finished school or have 25 years nursing experience make sure to do the following in your resume:

1. Use a professional sounding e-mail address. Your friends may find your “crazykat@net.com” cute. Be sure your potential employer will not.

2. Bold each section title of your resume.

3. Use an action word to begin each sentence.

4. Use easy to read fonts like Arial or Times Roman.

5. Proofread your resume carefully. Better yet, get a friend to proofread it for you. Spelling and Grammar mistakes will make you look disorganized or sloppy.

For nursing resumes spend extra time on your experience. Try to think of the job you are applying for. What are the key duties? What experience do you have that is related to these duties? If you are not sure exactly what is required, do a bit of research before applying.
