Job Interview Footwear

by Diane
(Denver, Colorado)

I recently fractured my ankle in a skiing mishap and have to wear a cast for the next two months. I have a job interview on Tuesday. It is important that I dress well for this interview, but I have no idea what to do for footwear.

Do you have any advice for me?

Diane,

Sorry to hear about your accident.
I would not be too concerned with foot wear for your job interview. Your foot in a cast will likely be the “opener” to your interview and allow you to show your “human” side.

However, with a cast one one foot, you should have a comfortable low shoe on your other. It is impossible to know how far you will need to walk to the interview room, so being mobile and comfortable will be very important.

Good Luck finding your perfect job!
