Interview thank you letter

I am often asked the question:

“Why do I need to write an Interview thank you letter?”.

This website is designed to give you tips on how to stand out and ultimately land your perfect job. Writing an Interview thank you letter is the last step in showing your potential employer that you are the best candidate.

The letter should be sent to all interviewer(s). If this is a second interview, with a new interviewer, you may want to send a separate letter to the person you originally met with too.

The letter could be sent by e-mail and should be written with 48 hours of the interview. Include any reference to follow up items that may have come up in the interview.

Example letters:

Dear Ms HR interviewer,

Thank you for taking the time to meet with me yesterday for the position of Senoir marketing analyst.

I believe that I would enjoy the challenges the position offers and would welcome the chance to work at My Ideal Company.

I believe that my knowledge and experience in marketing analysis would be a benefit to your corporation and that I could make a significant contribution over time.

Please feel free to call me if you require any addition information.

Again, thank you for the interview and I look forward to speaking with you in the near future

Sincerely,

JoeBad
